Eric Schnepf studied Mathematics at Karlsruhe University. He began his career by developing software for vector computers in the research group for numerical fluid mechanics at Karlsruhe University’s computer center. Since 1985 he has held various positions in the HPC business at Siemens, Siemens Nixdorf, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, and Fujitsu Technology Solutions in Munich. He has been recognized as a Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer. Since 2023 he supports the ISC Group as Senior Advisor.
